      Ice-skating

Ice-skating is another essential winter sport. Thanks to Kim Yuna, Korea’s 2010 Olympic champion, the number of skating enthusiasts has grown significantly. Lotte World Ice Skating Rink in downtown Seoul is a popular hot spot for families with children and people of all ages. With a maximum capacity of 1,000 people, the skating rink boasts excellent ice quality.

The Grand Hyatt Seoul Ice Skating Rink is frequently featured in numerous K-dramas and TV commercials due to its sparkly lights and romantic atmosphere, so Hallyu fans should make sure to stop by. But, this rink is located outdoors and only available during the winter months.

Shinsegae Centum City in Busan, one of the world’s largest shopping complexes, is home to another ice skating rink. Centum City Ice Rink is an indoor ice rink open throughout the year. A huge bonus is its location to a shopping complex, making it great for those who need variety in activities. One-day lessons are available for first timers.
